New Whilte House Voice for Women
Lynn Rosenthal, past director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, was named to a new position "White House Advisor on Violence Against Women". She will report directly to President Obama and Vice-President Biden.

10/20/09 - 5th Annual Stanford Health Cares about Domestic Violence Day:
"What Healthcare Providers and Parents Need to Know about Teen Dating Abuse"

With a noontime panel discussion of this topic between a physician, a psychologist, and a family court judge, Stanford Medical Center presented its fifth abuse awareness event for medical staff. A teen dating abuse resource handout was created for the event, and was also available at an educational display outside the main cafeteria:
